Managing Content Drafts in Brand Intelligence
Brand Intelligence includes a draft management system for creating, reviewing, and brand-voice-evaluating content before publishing.
Managing Content Drafts in Brand Intelligence
Brand Intelligence includes a draft management workspace where you can create, refine, and evaluate content before it goes live. Drafts connect directly to the brand voice evaluation feature so you can score content before publishing.
Accessing Drafts
- Open your Brand Intelligence profile.
- Click Drafts in the navigation.
Creating a Draft
From Scratch
- Click New Draft.
- Add a title and paste or type your content.
- Tag with content type (blog post, social caption, email, press release, etc.).
- Save as draft.
From a Content Idea
When you generate content ideas and click Promote to Draft on an idea, a new draft is automatically created with:
- The suggested topic as the title
- The idea rationale as a brief
- Empty body ready for you to write
This workflow connects the discovery of content opportunities (from trending mentions and competitor gaps) directly to content creation.
Draft Stages
Drafts move through stages:
| Stage | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Work in progress |
| Review | Ready for team review or voice evaluation |
| Approved | Voice-evaluated and approved for publishing |
| Published | Marked as live |
| Archived | No longer active |
Update the stage manually as content moves through your workflow.
Brand Voice Evaluation from Drafts
From any draft, click Evaluate Voice to run a brand voice consistency check (5 credits). The evaluation scores the draft against your brand voice profile and flags specific lines or phrases that are off-brand.
This is the most common use of drafts — write content, evaluate, revise, evaluate again until the score meets your standard.
Team Collaboration
In workspaces with multiple members, drafts are shared across the workspace. Team members can:
- View all drafts
- Edit draft content
- Leave comments
- Update draft stage (e.g., mark as Approved)
Organizing Drafts
Filter drafts by:
- Stage (show only Review-stage drafts)
- Content type (show only social captions)
- Tag
- Date created
Export
Drafts can be exported as plain text or Markdown for copying into your publishing tool (CMS, email platform, social scheduler).
Tips
- Use the Content Ideas pipeline → Draft → Voice Evaluate → Publish workflow for brand-consistent content at scale
- Archive published drafts rather than deleting them — they become a searchable library of what has been published
- Tag drafts by campaign to group related content
